ModelsToday – New Faces Competition Rules

1. Organizer

The ModelsToday New Faces Competition (“Competition”) is organized by ModelsToday (“Organizer”).

2. Scope

These Competition Rules apply to all submissions and participation related to the ModelsToday New Faces Competition promoted on blog.modelstoday.net, modelstoday.net, and ModelsToday’s official social media channels.

3. Eligibility

  • Participation is open worldwide.
  • You must be 18 years or older at the time of submission.
  • You must be able to provide valid identification upon request (only if required for compliance or safety reasons).
  • Employees/contractors of the Organizer may participate only if explicitly permitted by the Organizer.

4. How to Enter

Valid entries must be submitted via ModelsToday.net.

  1. Create an account on modelstoday.net (or log in if you already have one).
  2. Complete your profile with accurate information.
  3. Upload 2–5 recent photos:
    • at least one clear portrait
    • at least one full-body shot
    • minimal retouching; no heavy filters
  4. Optional: add your Instagram link, measurements, and portfolio details.

Submissions sent only via Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, email, or direct messages may be used for communication purposes, but are not considered a valid entry unless the participant also completes the entry on modelstoday.net.

5. Entry Period

The Competition is open now. The Organizer may set, extend, shorten, or close the entry period at any time. Any changes will be announced on the Competition page and/or via ModelsToday’s social channels.

6. Selection Process

  • Entries are reviewed by the Organizer’s creative team (“Jury”).
  • Selection is based on overall impression, authenticity, presence, and potential.
  • There is no obligation to provide individual feedback.
  • The Organizer may choose to feature a limited number of participants.

7. What Selected Participants May Receive

Selected participants may receive one or more of the following:

  • Featured placement on ModelsToday (profile highlights / editorial features)
  • Social media exposure on ModelsToday channels
  • Invitation for editorial content, interviews, or test shoots (case-by-case)
  • Introductions to photographers, brands, agencies, or creative collaborators (where applicable)

No guarantee of paid work: Participation and selection do not guarantee employment, paid bookings, or representation. Any collaborations occur directly between participants and third parties.

8. Content Requirements and Prohibited Content

You agree that your submission and profile content will not include:

  • illegal, defamatory, abusive, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory content
  • nudity involving minors or any illegal sexual content
  • content that violates intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • misleading identity information or impersonation

The Organizer may remove content or disqualify participants for violations or suspected violations.

9. Rights and License for Competition Purposes

You retain ownership of your photos and content.

By entering the Competition, you grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and publish your submitted content (including your name/artist name, profile information, and images) solely for:

  • Competition administration and selection
  • editorial features on ModelsToday and its subdomains
  • promotion of the Competition and ModelsToday on website and official social channels

This license does not permit selling your content to third parties. Any third-party commercial use requires your separate consent.

10. Credits

Where reasonable and technically possible, the Organizer will credit the participant and/or the photographer as provided in the submission/profile. Participants are responsible for providing correct credit information.

11. Withdrawal and Removal

You may withdraw from the Competition at any time by requesting removal of your Competition-related content or by deleting your submission/profile content from ModelsToday.net (subject to reasonable technical limitations).

Please note: content that has already been published or shared may remain visible in cached pages, archives, or third-party platforms beyond the Organizer’s control. The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to remove future uses after withdrawal.

12. Disqualification

The Organizer may disqualify any participant who:

  • violates these Rules or the platform policies
  • submits content without the necessary rights/permissions
  • provides false or misleading information
  • attempts to manipulate the selection process

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer is not liable for:

  • technical issues, downtime, or lost submissions due to connectivity or platform errors
  • any disputes between participants and third parties
  • any damages arising from participation, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence

14. Privacy

Personal data is processed according to the ModelsToday Privacy Policy: https://modelstoday.net/privacy_policy

15. Changes and Cancellation

The Organizer may update these Competition Rules, modify the Competition, or cancel it at any time for operational, legal, or safety reasons. Updates will be published on the Competition page.
